First Impression: Sephora Haul

You know that moment when you realize you’ve done it again… spent way more money then you’d care to admit on makeup, yeah that was me last Friday. If we’re being honest though I was lowkey enthusiastic about all my purchases.

Bold and feathery are the two words I’d use to describe my brows as of late. There’s something about that unkept, natural appearance that just gets to me. My preferred method for the brows are pencils, the Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil has taken the top spot amongst all other brow tools. With an angular tip on one end & a spooly on the other to comb through the brows, this pencil leaves your eyebrows defined but still on the natural side.

For the longest time I never set my brows yet wondered why they never stayed in place. Well… Lexi it’s because you’re not using brow gel, duh! The Gimme Brow from Benefit has completely changed my brow game, major props to Benefit for their entire brow range!

When it comes to the skin my aim is for it to appear minimal & glowy. I personally lean more forwards cream luminzers, the subtle dew they leave me with is indescribable. It was about that time to introduce a new highlight {or 2} to the family and there were the Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops calling my name. The pipet applicator is unique but I’m kind of into it. It gives the skin a wet-like appearance & don’t even get me started about when the sunlight hits your cheekbones.

We all are familiar with the “Walk Of Dome” at Sephora a.k.a. the aisle of minis. This last splurge I blame on that aisle, the Tarte Tarteist PRO Glow To Go. I haven’t really come up with a complete verdict on this palette quite yet. As for the shade ‘Gleam’ though … it gets all the heart eye emojis from me!

Hello everyone!! So I did a little damage at Sephora with my mom and I wanted to share my purchases with you guys. This always happens, I go into Sephora looking for only a couple items and end up checking out twice. #splurge

Tarte BB Tinted 12 Hour Primer //$35

This winter I was getting bored of all my foundations/bb creams so after much research I decided on this one from Tarte. The coverage on this is sheer but buildable perfect for everyday use. I’ve used this for a couple days now and I would have to say that this is definitely going to be a repurchase. It glides onto the skin leaving an airbrushed finish.

Tarte Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay Concealer //$22

Along with getting a new bb cream I got a brand new concealer also from Tarte. Normally I’m scared of concealers that say clay on them because it means that they’re super heavy on the skin but this one is completely opposite. It feels lightweight  while giving you sheer to medium coverage. If you prefer a more fuller coverage look I would recommend patting this into the skin or if your like me and prefer light coverage use a brush to blend this in. Either way it’s a winner in my book.

Too Faced Primed & Poreless Pressed Powder //$30

This powder was a total impulse purchase. I’ve heard Andrea from RosyChicc talk about this powder on her blog before so when I saw it I just took a plunge and got it. There is a loose version of this powder but I always tend to spill loose powders so I went with the pressed version.

Sephora Z Palette //$28

The Z Palettes are a must have in the beauty community if you love to buy products in pan form. My only problem was that I didn’t like any of the colors or prints that they came in but when I saw that Sephora came out with a black and white one I jumped on it. I picked up the bigger size so I wouldn’t run out of room.

Tarte Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Palette //$44

My last product of this haul is again from Tarte and probably the one I’m most excited for. It’s Tartes brand new all matte eyeshadow palette. Of course this palette has neutral colors in it because if it was colorful then it wouldn’t be me.

I hope you guys enjoyed taking a peek at what I got at Sephora. Thank you so much for reading this and I will talk to you soon!!
