Fall Candle Haul | October 2014

Hello beauties!! There should be no surprise in what I’m talking about today. Every beauty blogger goes crazy when Bath and Body Works brings out their fall candles… and I’m no exception! I’ve been known to burn a couple candles in my lifetime  but when the fall candles come out it’s a whole new ball game. That’s why the 2 for $22 sale came I had to jump on it!!

I know this might seem a little crazy that I bought 8 candles but I swear their all gonna get completely used up. The first candle I picked up was of course Sweater Weather. I mean honestly how could you pass up this candle and too boot it smells amazing! Pumpkin Sugared Doughnut is best described as an spicy autumn treat smell. The only thing I don’t like about this candle is that it’s orange. I love when my candles match the decor of my room so I’m not to thrilled about that. Mahogany Teakwood is perfect for snuggling up on a cold, cozy day with a warm cup of hot chocolate. Since I live in Florida though those cold days are few and far between but that doesn’t stop me.  And last but not least Marshmallow Fireside. This is an essential fall candle. I love the mix of vanilla and smoldering woods. If you guys are in love with a candle that I didn’t pick up let me know in a comment below! My Nighttime Skincare Routine | Fall Edition

Hello Beauties!! I’m back today with My Nighttime Skincare Routine! Whenever the seasons change I always like to switch up my makeup routine but most importantly my skincare routine. So since fall is approaching I thought it’s the perfect time for an updated Nighttime Skincare Routine. If you want to see my first nighttime skincare routine you can go check it out at lovelexitaylor.blogspot.com. IMG_0515

My first step in my nighttime skincare routine is removing all my makeup. The quickest thing to use is a facial wipe. At the moment I’ve been loving the Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes. The biggest problem I find with facial wipes is that they’re not hydrating enough, but these Simple wipes are definitely hydrating. The perfect balance!! IMG_0509

My next step is to cleanse my face but even before that I wash my hands. This is the most important step because you don’t want to put all that dirt and bacteria on your face from the day. Once I’ve washed my hands, I go in with my Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser. This face wash works double,as a makeup remover and cleanser in one.

I’m not a huge fan of the whole setting spray craze but I’ve finally found one thats growing on me! The Urban Decay B6 Complexion Prep Spray (which has a long name) is that one thing I was missing in my skincare routine. I’ve noticed a dramatic difference in my skin since I’ve been using this. It helps minamize any breakouts that I have and it especially helps with my discoloration on my face.

While the B6 spray is setting into my skin I try and take the time to focus on my lips. To add a touch of moisture I love using an EOS Lip Balm. About once a week or so I like to use the Lush Mint Julips Lip Scrub. It gets rid of all the dead skin on your lips which might sound gross but trust me it’s a life saver.

Since fall is rapidly approaching my skin tends to lean more on the dryer side so I have to keep it moisturized. A gel formula is the best for fall time because it feels cooling on the skin. My favorite is the Simple Ultra Light Gel Moisturizer. The best part is that it’s drugstore so it’s not crazy expensive.

My last step is to hydrate my under eye area. All the way through August and into September I’ve been using the Garnier Skin Renew Eye Roller. I find that since I’ve been using this eye roller my under eye concealer has been going on a lot smoother.
