Hello beauties!! It has been way to long since I posted a blog post and I hate that. The biggest thing I struggle with is balancing my time between school, my blog, and just relaxing. But don’t worry because I’m going to be posting a lot more since I only have couple more weeks left of school. For those of you who know me I’m more of a natural makeup kind of girl but let’s be real they’re are some occasions where you just need to go darker.
One of the most important steps is priming your eyelids. I just took a skin tone concealer and applied it to my eyelids to cover any redness. After primer I took my Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette which has seen better days and applied YDK all over my eyelids. It’s a gorgeous warm, coppery brown color with the perfect amount of shimmer in it.
Now going into the Urban Decay Naked Palette take the color Buck on a fluffy blending brush and buff it into your crease. The best part about this makeup look is that your can leave the look here and just add some mascara, eyeliner and be good to go. But if you want to smoke it out #don’tstop.
Now going into the 3rd Urban Decay Naked Palette take Factory on a pencil brush and buff that into your outer corner and slightly into your crease. If you don’t have all 3 of the Urban Decay Naked Palettes there is a ton of similar options high end and drugstore you can use. #don’tworry
As of recent I have been obsessed with gel liner. On an everyday basis I’ll use a dark brown color but for a special occasion I’d recommend Black. To deepen up the look even more apply a Black Pencil Liner to your waterline. But if your not into black eyeliner on your waterline you can always use a skin tone liner to brighten your eye. One of the most important steps in any eye look is mascara. To get bold lashes definitely go with the Benefit They’re Real Mascara.
Since fall is officially here its safe to say that your tan and mine are wearing away. So to make it look like you’ve been sunbathing in Hawaii I like to use the Too Faced Sunny Bunny Natural Bronzer. This bronzer is not completely matte which I prefer because it doesn’t make your face appear flat. Now going into blush. I love a more matte blush in the fall time opposed to a shimmery blush. At the moment my favorite has been the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush: Exposed.
Since you have shimmer on the eyes I want to keep the lips matte. My favorite matte lip option are the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balms: Sultry. This lip color is super pigmented so you have to be extremely careful applying it.
For my hair I used a Tapered 1″ Conair Curling Wand . After I curled my hair I brushed through it to give it more of a loose, messy, beachy look. If you guys want to recreate this look I would love to see. All you have to do is use the #beautychatwithlexi or tag me on Instagram @beautychatwithlexi. I hope you beauties enjoyed this!!
